I had an idyllic upbringing in Massachusetts and got a degree in art from Smith College several lifetimes ago. I have worked in museums and as a community organizer, and lived in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Colorado, North Carolina, and Maryland before discovering the best place, Arizona, in 1990.
I came to Tucson to enroll in the University of Arizona's graduate program in hydrology. After grad school, I worked as a hydrologist for a Tucson consulting firm for six years.
I never thought I would make a career of real estate when I got my license in 1995. I just wanted to buy rental properties. Much to my surprise, I gradually realized that buying houses was a lot more fun than watching drilling rigs and writing reports, and I became a full time Realtor in 1999. It was the right decision at the right time. My production is now in the top 9% of all Tucson agents.
The skills I developed in my many previous careers are very useful to me in helping you buy or sell real estate. I am organized, optimistic, honest, hard working and a good listener. If I had known a Realtor like me, I wouldn't have gotten my license. But I can save you the trouble of getting a license, and I will give you the benefit of my experience buying and selling homes and investment properties for myself and others.
If you are planning a move to Tucson, you are very fortunate. I still feel lucky to live here. Many people spend their precious vacation days in Tucson. I get to enjoy the music, the food, the easy-going attitude, the mountains, sunsets and weather every day. I never cease to be amazed by the variety of birds, lizards, rabbits and squirrels that I can see at my own mid-city home.
My goals are to earn your trust, help you buy or sell your home with a minimum of hassle, and to be the name on the business card you hand to friends when they ask if you know a good Realtor.
